A European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) is a legal entity, created in 1985 by the  then European Community (EC). It is designed to make it easier for companies located in different European countries to do business together, or to form consortia to take part in EU programmes.​

 

The objective of FEAC is – within the boundaries set by Competition and Antitrust Laws - to support, facilitate and develop the economic activities of the members and to improve and increase the results of these activities; primarily, but not restricted to:

  • Negotiating with Daimler

  • Promoting the interests of the members

  • Facilitating contacts amongst the members

  • Regulating trade between the members and conducting joint advertising.

Furthermore to engage in any activity appertaining and relating to the above or which may be beneficial to the above, all in the broadest sense of the term.

TOPICS

FEAC deals with various topics related to the automobile brand Mercedes-Benz. Depending on the subject area, the association focuses on the strengths of the following main topics: MB Passenger Cars, MB VANS, MB Trucks, After-Sales and IT/CRM.


Currently, the focus is strongly on topics related to digitalization in every area.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The European dealer association also has a define structure. In addition, each Vice President is responsible for a specific Mercedes-Benz area and strongly promotes the related topics. This includes joint discussions with their working groups from different countries.
